Nature and wildlife photographer Randy Harris has traveled throughout the natural world for over 20 years observing and photographing the Earth’s last great wild places. A Washington native, Harris’s love of nature, his life outdoors and business success were heavily influenced by his childhood. As an avid sportsman, Harris spent countless hours hunting, camping and hiking. From these adventures, Harris learned important lessons for photographing in the field, most notably patience and understanding animal behavior.
Nature’s Best Photography selected his work to be their grand prize winner and his work was exhibited three times in the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC. His work has been used in countless advertisements, websites and art stores.
Randy is driven to capture an image that will convey the authenticity of the moment. Whatever the venue, whatever the subject, he loves the process of photography – those times when the right light, the right composition, the right exposure comes together to record a moment in time.
